1 very large, very angry neighbor's cat
1 very large, very angry raccoon
0 little gray cat with too tight flea collar!!!

I need more purrs guys, this isn't working!

You know what's interesting though?  The "bait" that works best is my crew's
left-over Science Diet dry food - that's what got all of the above.  The
tuna, the sardines, and the KFC were all ignored except by honey bees.

I have the gang be a little more specific in the purrs ;-)

Patience. When we started trying to catch racoons to relocate them, we
caught a skunk (twice) and a possum. We didn't catch any cats though.

More "concentrated" purrs on the way.
Mistletoe.  Smokey would too but he's too sleepy right now.

Aww, still no luck? We'll be purring harder for 1 little grey kitty with
too tight collar to end up in the trap.

More trapping purrs are on their way.  Have you *seen* graykitty?
IIRC he'd sort of disappeared for a while.

No, I haven't even seen him since I brought the trap home on Saturday - the
last I say him was Friday night.

Yes, which is why I added the "not too bright" - he came back and got caught
in the same trap the same night!  He was the biggest raccoon I've ever
seen - he completely filled the inside of the trap (which is how I knew it
was the same one).  I didn't see how he figured he could get in and then
back out again.  I was *very* nervous trying to get the rear trap door
unlocked and then opened.  I had the trap tilted down the stairs at the top
of the stairs and was fervently hoping that he would just run away down the
stairs and not decide to turn around and take his anger out on me (he chose
running away both times - whew)!!!

Still purring. Have you seen little gray cat since you got the trap?

No, I took the trap in last night and just put out food, but I didn't see
him - I'm hoping he'll come back tonight.
