...for squirrel watching.  I couldn't believe this when I walked into my
kitchen a few minutes ago.  I guess she got tired of sitting up at the door
looking out at the squirrels!

Yep, leave it to a cat to find the perfect spot for that much needed nap!

I'm glad I didn't waste my money on one of those cats' window hammocks they
sell - my ingenious Jessie saved me some bucks with her own version!  ;>

I wanted to get a shot of her from the outside, but by the time I got
downstairs, out the door, around the house, and up the deck stairs she got
up and moved when she saw me walking up to her!  Cats, sheesh!

She doesn't like to pose! Thanks for the laugh!

LOL!  Yes, it's the perfect kitty spot - squirrels to watch, sun to soak up,
and a comfy nest - I'm surprised she ever gets out of there!  ;>

Fleez would do that, but I don't have any sheers that'd do the hammock
thing very well. Even if I did, I wouldn't have them for long.  He's
thirteen pounds without being the least bit fat.  I can't imagine how
heavy he'd be if I overfed him!

Cheers,
Azy!

Yeah, even Jessie's petite 7.5 pounds has bent that bottom current rod all
out of shape (I was wondering why they were both so crooked) - it's a good
thing Sammy hasn't caught on to that yet!

Hah!  I thought it was going to be a sink.  That's ... not a sink.

Oh, nothing so prosaic as a sink for our Jessie, she's *much* more
imaginative than that - *I* would have never thought of that solution for
proper squirrel watching combined with proper rest!  ;>

Hey, she's hidden from you and if she doesn't move too much, the squirrels
won't notice too much, either!

It's a cat's perfect solution to the need to watch all squirrels that come
to eat out of the dry food dish we keep outside the door for strays at all
times, and the need to get her proper rest!

Oh, she looks so comfortable!!  How nice of you to make her this neat

I'd be willing to bet that if I had bought one of those window hammocks they
make for cats that it would have been thoroughly ignored!  ;>

I wish I could have gotten a picture of her from the other side of the
door - I can only imagine what she looked like with her belly mushed up
against the glass!  ;>  I'll be checking out the kitchen often to see if I
can catch her doing this again and hopefull will be able to get outside fast
enough to snap it!
