I'm at the computer, and Licky comes in and utters his little "mew".
I automatically stretch my left arm down toward the floor, so he can
headbump my palm. But he just sits there, and mews again. I coo at
him and wave my fingers. Nothing. Then, suddenly, I feel something
(lightweight) drop on my foot, so I look down. It's his green foam
ball! He was trying to get me to throw it for him, by bringing it into
the computer room, dropping it on the floor, and mewing. (He does this
often.) But mom wasn't getting the hint, so he picked up the ball and
dropped it on my foot. D'oh!

Ha! My cats have never seen cluelessness as an excuse. Dante will
dump something right on my lap. ;)
