Interesting.

They killed all the snakes.  Then there were too many rats.  Now
they've brought in cats to kill all the rats.

And what happens when these 200 cats multiply?

Most excellent. I shall show the article to the felines that deign to share
their residence with me and remind them that there's a mole or two in the
garden that could do with a bit of feline hard work being applied to
them....
