Lindy has always been a bit of a talker, but the last week or two, she's
outdone herself. Sometimes her meows sound hoarse, but I suspect that's
from talking so much.
One thing that was really strange - I am not a morning person, and since
I'm retired, I can get away with it. There is always dry food
available, and canned food is served only in the evening, so Lindy has
never had any reason to wake me up in the morning. In fact, over half
the time, she stays on the bed when I get up. She has been known to
stay on the bed until noon.
I normally have my alarm (actually a clock radio) set for 8:30. I
generally listen for a few minutes and then get up. Yesterday morning
at 7 AM (!) Lindy started yelling at me. She meowed and meowed. I'd
pet her and she'd quiet down, but every time I stopped, she'd start up
again. That went on for about half an hour. I don't know what that was
all about.
This morning she waited until 8:00.

Odd behaviour is always a good reason for a checkup! How old is Lindy?
