I wonder why we try so hard to get cats to play.  It's not as though
it's fun for *us*. :)

With Betty, I sometimes have to try a couple of different toys before
she becomes interested enough, or I have to warm her up a bit by
moving the toy in a way that excites her.

If she's on one of the couches when she gets excited, she wraps
herself around the arm or the back, twitching epileptically and acting
all demented.  I actually took a picture of her doing that today, but
I haven't reinstalled my software yet after upgrading my hard drive,
so I haven't looked to see if it came out.

Especially because the moment before she *acted* like she wanted to play.

The only thing he *loves* gently swished in his face is my tail... he
immediately dons his gaiters..
