When my partner was hand-raising a pair of three week old kittens, he
was also writing his Masters' thesis. He would type with the box of
kittens on his lap, so he could talk to them and keep them warm. They
very quickly bonded with him as their "mother" or MomDad as we settled
on.
Anyway, as kittens learn in nature from imitating the mother cat, so
did these bits attempt to imitate MomDad....leading to a thesis draft
with random numbers interspersed throughout from where one of them
crawled onto the number pad.
One day I came home and saw him typing with a little paw rising out of
the box and poking the space bar at random intervals.
Tyche to this day is attracted to the computer keyboard.
