I know some of you are fans of the blogger Cherie Priest and her cat,
Spainy.

Spainy left a "deposit" of blood & mucus on Cherie's floor the other day,
and was taken quickly to the vet, who found nothing wrong. He thought that
perhaps Spainy ruptured a blood vessel trying to cough up a hair ball.
