Give strong consideration to getting a Maine Coon, because they sing.

We don't know absolutely for sure that Billy is a Maine Coon, but I believe
he is. He sings just like my RB Cotton, who was a MC. He sounds almost like
a bird at times.

do give strong consideration in getting a Maine Coon.  I inherited mine
(Boots) when my friend died of cancer.  Boots is neutured male who weighs 22
pounds.  Yes, he is a little overweight but just a really big boy!!!  He is
the best cat I have ever owned;  he is gentle, really laid back (though he
likes to get crazy once in a while tearing through the apartment); loves to
be brushed, highly inteligent and obeys some commands; and snores a little
when he sleeps.  but he is a very friendly, and loving cat, does not meow
often though he does like to greet me when I have been gone for a long time
during the day and is very, very affectionate.  skypeople
