Could use some school purrs

This purr request isn't for me, it's for my son Sean.

Sean is a senior at the University of California, Riverside, majoring in
Computer Science. This quarter he's taking the two hardest classes of his
program - Artificial Intelligence, and Compiler Design. He's been really
keeping his nose to grindstone and working on these two, and now it's time
for final exams.

He's pretty well prepared for the Compilers exam, but he feels pretty
badly unprepared for his AI exam. He's spending a lot of time in study
groups working on catching up, but he still feels pretty lost. His exam is
Thursday.

I think some purrs sent his way might help.

Purrs for your son.  Tell him not to stress about it; he's almost done!

Purrs for a good memory and some real intelligence to supplement the AI.

I still have my school and exam nightmares once in a while.

This is bringing back memories of my college days! AI is a tough course.
But I'll bet he's doing better than he thinks he is. If he's used to doing
really good work in school on a regular basis, then doing a little less
than excellent might feel disorienting to him, and he'll think he's close
to failing, when in fact, he might be able to get a B on the final, rather
than an A. :)

I liked Victor's AI purrs, so I'll add to those. :)

Dan,
Good luck to Sean as he takes his finals, and for a great career after
he graduates.

Wish I took AI when I was a comp sci. student. Compilers was a tough
one for me.

Purrs on the way that his "non-artificial" intelligence and hard work
will pull him through on the AI test with flying colors.

Sure, Dan.  Purrs for Sean to do a whole lot better than he thinks on
the exams.

Many thanks for all the purrs. Sean was very impressed that so many
complete strangers from all around the world would send purrs his way.

And the purrs worked! Sean said the exam was the hairiest he's ever taken,
but he learned today that he got a B on the final and a B in the class. He
is very excited!
