With the forecast of a lighter wind, we left the dock at 8:30 a.m.
However, the forecast was a little too optimistic and we slogged along
for 7.5 windy hours. I sat in the cabin with the kitties most of the
way. Cinder snoozed on the settee while Rosie peered out the window or
moved around the cabin before settling down for a nap in her den.
We are in Port O'Connor, Texas.

I'm really enjoying your cruising diary, Annie! It reminds me of the
cats I've seen when on board narrowboats here on the UK canals. They
always seem very relaxed with their watery lifestyle. It sounds like
Rosie and Cinders are settling in well! Bon voyage!
Deb.

Hi Annie!
I'm so glad you're connected and can post these trip journals. I'm loving
them so far! Also glad to hear that Cinders and Rosie are adjusting well.
They'll get their sea legs very soon and you won't be able to get them off
the boat once your adventure is over :-)

Thanks for the reports, Annie. Keep 'em coming. We want to
hear all about Rosie and Cinder's adventures -- and yours and
DH's too, of course. :-)

Hi Wayne,
I'm glad you are enjoying reading about Rosie and Cinder's adventures.
I suspect that as we progress, I won't have a lot of new things to
report (which might be a good thing) but, I'll try to keep up with it.
