Preparations for the trip are nearing an end. Jim dismantled the cat
trees and took Rosie's favorite tube to the boat. He also took the den
part of the second tree. We want the cats to have a space where they
feel safe and at home,.
While we were onboard installing the cat tree parts, we heard Rosie's
little mew outside the window.
She must have noticed that her furniture was being moved and followed it
to see what was going on. We opened the door and let her in. Cinder
followed not too far behind, and she and Rosie spent some time exploring
inside the cabin and outside on the decks to check out all the new items
that are in place.
We have loaded so much stuff that we look like vagabonds. If we were in
a wagon train, we'd have to invest in another mule.
