A thousand miles?  That's not much of a drive.  I'd do it in a
heartbeat for a loved one.

Notice

how many people WOULD drive that far for their pet. I would too.
Matthew AKA NMR ( NO MORE RETAIL ) - 15 Mar 2006 04:59 GMT
In a heart beat if I had to take out a 5th mortgage to pay someone to go get
my furball work 5 jobs.  I WOULD DO IT in a heartbeat

I would be in tears also if one of my furballs got loose and ran off.  I
would be in tears everyday till I found them.  I would have never left the
area my job could kiss off

for dog owners the movie firewall  got my attention for this
https://www.globalpetfinder.com/store/purchasecollar.aspx

they are working on a second generation as we speak for our feline friends
and hope to have it soon
the dogs are $300 for 20 bucks a month if the dog goes past boundaries you
have setup it warns you and locates the dog you can get the info on your
cellphone.
