Oscar is just getting more and more snuggly.  In the last year or so
I've seen a drastic change in her behavior.

She likes to be held.

She sits on my lap (assuming it's covered with the magic blanket) for
half an hour or more at a time, purring her fuzzy head off.

Eric can pick her up and hold her belly-up, baby style.  Then I can
kiss her paws or bury my face in her belly fur.  Sometimes she doesn't
even stop purring.

She still has her snarky moments, but they're much more rare.

I don't know what's going on, but I like it!

Awww.  Now that you said that, she'll probably change back.  Just to
keep you guessing! But seriously, I'm glad she's being cuddly!

It took a long time for Nikki to melow out, but at around 10 yo she
started to enjoy human company. Before that, only Frank would do.

Oops!!  Sorry, didn't mean to come across as sarcastic.  You and
Oscar are a delight  and she's just saying she appreciates it all.
