You're just lying there, relaxing in your domain, giving yourself a
wash or sunning yourself; whatever you might be doing, all is peaceful.

But then you see it....

Out of the corner of your eye, you see movement.  Just a flicker of
movement and you freeze.  What could it be?  with a slooooow turn of
your head (or by using the eyes in the back of your head, whichever you
wish to use) you see and take in the movement.

It's long and furry.......and just gently flicking and wiggling itself
for what seems like no purpose.  But strange you only see one end of
it.  Where could the other end be?  *gasp*  The other end has
disappeared behind you!!  and it's touching YOUR BUTT!!!

How dare this THING enter YOUR domain and DARE attach itself to your
butt?  The butt that you painstakingly keep clean so you can present it
so close to the face of your slave.  All this runs through your head
but you don't move a single hair on your body.

This THING, this INTRUDER must be dealt with.  It must be disciplined
PROPERLY and informed that attaching to your butt is UNACCEPTABLE.  You
watch your prey and your eyes widen and cat instinct takes over.

Steady.......steady.......don't want to scare it away.  It's right
there, just within reach and you'll probably only get ONE
shot.....steady....wait for it.........

KILLITKILLITKILLITKILLITKILLIT!!!!!!!!! GETITOFFGETITOFFGETITOFF!!!!
DIEDIEDIEDIEDIE.....

NOW FOR THE BITE OF DEATH!!!!!

OUCH!!!!!

That hurt!!!!  What happened?  Oh yeah, that's my tail.  Uh oh, the
hoomin is watching, better clean the tail and act like I totally meant
to do that.

Which is true, no respecting cat would just randomly attack it's own
tail because it thought it was a butt-snake.  Never ever.

Time for a Nap......

Hehehehehehehe, Imp likes to curl up in a big paper bag and suddenly
the butt-snake will appear.  I will be trying to sleep and will
suddenly hear this RATTLERATTLE from the living room.  Once i peeked in
and caught him rolling around trying to grab his tail.  Cutie!!

And Mayhem will just be lounging on the bed, and suddenly see her tail
out of the corner of her eye.  She'll hold this position for a sec, and
then suddenly POUNCE!!!!!  It's so hard not to laugh, cause when i do
it brings her back to her senses and she immediately starts grooming
the tail, like she totally meant to clean it, not kill it.
