It is NOT a good idea to have a cat on your chest!!!
I'm much much better now, but last weekend i was coughing and hacking
and had a lot of times when i really couldn't breathe.
And Mayhem, loves to curl up next to my head when i sleep and nuzzle my
hands. And when i want to sleep and hide my hands under the covers,
she relents to curling up on my chest.
Now she's only about 8 pounds, but when you're hacking and wheezing
this is the LAST thing you want, and she couldn't figure out why
Meowmie was coughing. hmph!! She's giving purrs and cuddles cause she
thinks it will make me feel better.
But Meowmie saw the doctor on Monday and now isn't coughing anymore, so
now she can curl up on my chest whenever she feels like it.
Grrrr....... Furry fluffbut.....

Glad to hear that you're feeling better.
Oscar seems to avoid us when we have colds, but when I have cramps,
she parks herself on my tummy and purrs like an outboard motor. It's
nice and soothing.
