Teti got worried

A short introduction for new readers: I live with two Devon Rex cats,
Tinùviel, a five yo female, and her son Teti, three yo.

Tonight was a quiet evening for all of us three, until Tinùviel suddenly
started coughing. I don't know why she did that, I guess she just got
something in her throat that needed to come out again. Teti, who had been
resting peacefully in a chair near by, woke up immediately to see what was
going on. Clearly he didn't like the sound of his mother making such strange
noises, so he jumped down and ran over to her.

She was still coughing, and he started licking her face and neck, as if he
thought that could help her. It didn't, so he turned his face to me and
asked: "What am I going to do, Hans? I don't want her to be like this!" I
couldn't give him an answer other than "Leave her alone, she'll get better".
I heard from her coughing that it was right before she was finished with it.
But Teti didn't give up. "Mom, I know you like to play with me, come on,
I'll chase you, I know you like that, and then you will get better!" And he
licked her once more. So he started chasing her around...

At that time, she had finally got rid of whatever was stuck in her throat,
so she went along to play with the stupid guy.

It all went well, but it was really touching to see how worried Teti got,
and how he tried to help her the best he could. He is such a good boy...

yes, Grant and Sugar have always gotten worried about stuff like that
too. And Sugar is very interested when I test Pearl's blood Sugar.
Pearl, unfortunately, is not that impressed by her concern :D

When Nikki had her first asthma attacks, Frank would go and lick her
very vigorously, as if trying to lick away the cough. Later, he got used
to hearing her cough and wouyldn't react any more.
