Billy has just done the most amazing series of leaps into the air that I
have ever seen. He's after a housefly and has jumped at it about eight times
so far. Several of his leaps were at least 5' into the air. I've never seen
him do this before. He must be really craving to be out hunting.

I don't know. I was so enthralled by the spectacular show of feline agility
that I paid little attention to the fly. Amazing to see this from the chubby
Billy-cat.

Hmph. At least, Billy does his own jumping. Freddie used to insist I carry
him around, holding him up where he could go after bugs on the ceiling.

Rusty likes to do that too. Flies are his favourite treat. Since he is
getting old,
his leapings are not as high as they used to be. But that doesn't stop him
from catching
them.
