Last night as I was going to bed, I noticed that the cat bed in my bedroom was overflowing: the bed holds one large cat, but there were *three* in it: one 18 pound Tigger, a 10 pound Ozy, and a 6-7 pound Millie. <http://web.umr.edu/~daviste/sardine2.jpg> Millie doesn't even *look* comfortable in that picture. It looks as though there are perfectly comfortable places to rest all around, so either they all like each other enormously, or they all like that cat bed enormously. Yes indeed, that's what the pile of retired sheets and towels is all about - there's also a basket to the left. But none of that is particularly interesting to the cats: Tigger sometimes uses the bed, and Dandy uses it and the basket, but otherwise, I seldom see a cat there. SignatureT.E.D.
