I wish you all had know Stinky many years ago, because he was the
hoolikitten to end all hoolikittens-- this should give hope to all you
who are patiently enduring your own little marauders. What I find so
funny about his "I'm shocked, shocked!" reaction to Dante's antics, is
that Stinky was probably ten time the hooli that Dante is.
So Stinky, is, at 15, much quieter, and although always lively, over
the years, the sweetness and gentleness of her personality has really
been most prominent. But I mentioned before that there are a couple
of things that wake up the sleeping hooli in Stinky, and one of them
is the yummy giant chicken burrito I sometimes bring home after class.
He really outdid himself last night. I had opened the burrito a
little bit, and when I was getting a drink, Stinky grabbed a corner of
tortilla, and dragged the whole burrito away (smearing a trail of
rice, beans and salsa in his path) like a leopard with a gazelle. If
he got to the end of the table, there would have been burrito
everywhere. Thank Bast I leaped across the table just in time to grab
the burrito and get it back into my plate before the gravity-driven
disaster happened. Stinky was competely undaunted-- he was determined
to get his chops around some burrito, and stayed right in my face
until I paid the Stinky toll-- a little burrito in his bowl. He will
eat any of it-- it isn't just the adobo- marinated chicken-- he eats
the rice, the beans, even the tortilla. It just drives him into a
burrito frenzy.

Before anyone here can have pizza, we have to pay the "Smokey tax".
It's required that we order all pizzas with extra cheese so Smokey can
have his due, and it must be given before anyone else eats!

My boys are pizza boys too- with the added bonus that they love the
box. Dante likes to climb into it, Stinky likes to sit on it. But a
burrito frenzy is truly fearsome to behold around here. ;)

And my furballs really don't like people food! How funny. I loved the
burrito story. :~)

:-)

This image makes me laugh.
I'm never going to forget the time Tyche cried to my buddy Jon for a
taste of his ice cream, and when he told her no, she promptly curled
back her lips and hissed at him!

LOL There was the time I set a plate on my coffee table, turned my back for
about 15 seconds to grab a napkin from the kitchen. Persia had absconded
with half of the hamburger pattie off the bun. Luckily I'd grilled more
burgers so I couldn't be very upset with her, but I gave her a slight
scolding anyway (between laughter) as she wolfed down "her half" of the
pattie. Now I carry my plate with me to the kitchen if I need anything
else.

LOL! Glad Stinky can dig out the hooli in him from time to time. I can
just imagine him carrying off his 'prey.'

Took me right back to his first Thanksgiving with me, when he leaped
onto the table (full of food, with company all around), grabbed the
drumstick-- almost bigger than him-- and dragged that off, too. There
was shock all around. ;)

I love Stinky stories, he's such a character. Spicey wanted my
peppermint tea bag last night. She jumped up on the table which was
very unusual. She was so persistant, that I had Joanne set it around.
She sniffed it, rubbed it, than batted it around a bit.

Very cute story! Omar was the people food bandit in our family; he
especially tried to make off with pork chops and managed to snag some more
than once to the accompaniment of much snickering behind napkins.
