I awoke tonight to go to the bathroom to find Mattie ensconced on my
pillow. Normally she takes the half near the headboard and leaves me
the half on the bed. Not this time, she was spread out across the whole
pillow. Thoroughly sacked out. When I got up, she didn't move a muscle
except to stretch out a bit more and make a contented sigh. She didn't
give in when I got back in bed either. I had to make do with only part
of the pillow I usually sleep with. This could turn into a nightly
habit if I'm not careful and don't keep control of my half of the
pillow. I think I'll keep her anyway. :)

Around here, *I* am the Uberpillowmistress! (Boy, that sounds like the
title of a naughty movie, doesn't it? =o) I'll share the bed with the
cats and they can have the pillows when I'm up and about. But at
night, the pillows belong to me, and any cat who believes otherwise is
asking to be physically removed. I'm a mean Meowmie, but darn it, I'm
also the one who pays the rent! =o) I deserve some comforts. I am
sufficiently soft-hearted to let Pan sleep on top of me under the
covers most of the time, and he seems to think I'm comfortable enough
for him.
