Hi,
I'm changing computers and moving at the same time.  Jim & I, along with
Cinder and Rosie are moving onto our boat.
I won't have much time for newsgroups until we get underway and settled.
The kitties have done well, so far, with the changes in their environment.
We sold all our furniture, but they still have the cat trees.  They have had
a great time exploring all the empty cupboards and shelves.
We have uncovered the stashes of toy mice and balls, etc.
At the last minute we will disassemble the cat trees and take whatever
elements we can fit on the boat to help the kitties feel at home.
I'll probably be around a few more days, but will have to drop out, as I
said, until I get the new computer configured and get some time.
Here are purrs in advance for all who need them.
Oh, yeah, my daughter who had the miscarriage last fall is pregnant again
and due in Sept.  All seems to be going well this time with this bare
kitten.

Hi Karen,
I will have Internet access and will be able to get the newsgroups as soon
as I find time to configure my new computer.
Right now, we are in the last stages of sorting and packing.  Tomorrow I'll
ship my desktop computer to my sister and will not be able to get to the
newsgroups on my laptop as explained above.
I hope to have a web page with lots of pictures, but I've never done that,
so will have a learning curve.

Wow.  I can't imagine changing my life in such a drastic fashion.
What an adventure!  Have a great time!

Best wishes for the move to go as smoothly and uneventfully as possible.
Best wishes for your daughter, too.

Thank you, Joy.  I especially like the smoothly part because we will be on
the water.  I very much prefer a smooth ride.

First, I have to figure out how to configure my new computer.  It's been so
long ago that I don't remember.
I'll probably be using Outlook and a little spare time.
Then, there are the thousands of messages because we are all so chatty.
I'm missing you guys already and I haven't even left the dock yet.

Victor,
And best wished to you, too.  Aren't you moving to England?

Me? Nope. We're visiting London in the fall, but that's about it. :)

So the adventure is about to begin.  I'm glad it looks like your
cats can go with you.  And that's great news about your
daughter.  We'll keep good trip purrs going for you as you
travel, and also gonna-be-a-grandma purrs.

So exciting! I can't wait to hear how the cats fare now that you are
moving to the boat to stay. Purrs that the transition goes smoothly, and
purrs for your daughter's pregnancy.
