Somehow I have seeb to come dowd wid a cold. Complede wid achey feber, scratchy throad, and stubbed ub dose. My dose is so stubbed ub, I feel like all by mucos membrades have dried up and sent their mucus to by dose. It's so bad, it's even ebected my typing. I'm currently zucking on Halls to soothe by throad, and on Dayquil/Nyquil to ease the aches of the feber & helb unstubb by dose. Oh, can somebody tell Bibi that the perbect place to sleep on by desk is NOT wight on by twackball. Ebery tibe I want to mobe the cursor, I have to mobe her first, and theb dhe cobes wight back. Get well purrs and wishes are on the way. There is nothing worse than an early cold. The cats also send gentle headbutts to help make you feel better. Julie, Hobbes, Selena, Lacey and Sam Thanks for all the purrs & headbutts. I seem to be over the worst of it. Still a bit feverish at times, but now I no longer have to run for the tissue box to blow my ever-dripping nose every 65 seconds. I'm congested, mostly in my chest (ugh) , but my speech (& typing) is back to normal. The really bad thing is that I have a chapped nose from all the tissue rubbing - even though I used the kind with 'lotion' in it - and in a few days it will probably be peeling like a bad sunburn (ouch), which will make me look worse than I'll feel. Get a mentholated lip balm and use it on your nose every time you blow it. Not only will it help your poor sore nose, but the menthol in it will help you breath a little easier.
