Pardon another post, but I also wanted to share new pics of Rhett
and Bonnie, and there's another installment of "Shamrock's head"
in a picture with Scarlett in there.

Great pics, Cheryl. The one called "GrrrOWWW" looks like Bonnie with her
"prey" -- sort of like those jungle photos that show a big cat about finish
off it kills (which I always hate seeing but which is fun in this context).
Thanks for sharing!

LOL! Love em. Shamrock's head is always funny the way it pops up in
unexpected places. ROFL at Rhett doing crunches.

Great shots!! I love the "Shamrock's Head" series. He's such a ham,
always has to get in on a picture. :)
I also liked Bonnie's glare in the background while Rhett stretched
out on the bed.

RHett likes to lie on his back a lot doesn't he. Egad he is TWICE the size
of Bonnie. Looks like they get along well enough now. That "Shamrock's Head"
photo cracks me up. I think Shamrock and Catnips Jessie have a lot in common
when it comes to cameras.

I sent those pics to a friend at work, and while we were looking at
them (she was practically screaming about his size) our CIO popped
in to her office (he's a cat person too) and he saw the pics and
commented that Rhett's tail looks as long as Bonnie. LOL I had to
confess to him after he saw the pics, that my house is very cat-
centric. ;) He says, I see that. Hehehehe

They all mostly get along, but I think Bonnie is the one that keeps
injuring Rhett. I can't clip her claws at all, and he's been to TED
2x in the last month for serious injuries. First his eye, and then
this week for his lip. The cut on his lip is right where his upper
fang touches, so it wasn't healing. When the vet was cleaning it
out and making it bleed (poor Rhett) she kept showing me just how
deep it was. I only knew he was cut and it wasn't going away.

Thanks for the great pics! I LOL'd when I saw the crunches pic and the
different box pic! What kind of birds were they outside the window do you
know? And your Rhett looks so big now! I've always had a soft spot for
Shamrock for some reason - he looks like a black and white version of my
grey and white Otis I think.

I'm not exactly sure, but I think they were Grackles, but many of
the black birds flock together for some reason. I did notice some
with irredecent (SP) colors on black, some speckled (probably
starlings). Whatever they are, they seem to be a migrating flock.
Over the last several years I've seen huge flocks of them in the
winter. They're very very noisy, too. And, when they're out there,
you can't walk outside; it sounds like it's raining. Yuck.
Grackles seem to be very timid birds, and take off with the
slightest of motion. Since they landed on my front yard (and my
neighbors yard, and the cemetary across the street) and there are
cars going by, the flock itself was very much alive: It was like a
big black wave moving up, then landed again. Then up again, just to
settle back down again. That's what was freaking the cats out so
much, that they were in constant motion. They were so crowded
together that there were always several right up against the
windows where the cats were watching (and probably salivating). The
pictures that I got didn't even come close to showing what I
actually saw.
