Is the TV stand built in such a way that you could get a broom or mop under
it and behind your cat.  If so, you could use that to *gently* push the cat
out.  Be sure to have a carrier open and close to you, and keep the door to
the room closed in case the cat suddenly decides to make a run for it.

Purrs that your kitten isn't very sick. And that she decides to come
out on her own soon. (If she doesn't -- can you slide a yardstick under
the stand and nudge her?)

I got up to go to the bathroom an hour after calling a friend in the
middle of the night to come help me first thing in the morning and low
and behold the bathroom smells putrid and there she is lying on the
bathmat in the dark.  I quickly shut the door to keep out the other cats
and to keep her from escaping.  I'm not worried about the putrid smell
- her poops always smell that way since she eats only wet food.  I do
need to see if it is diarrhea though so I can take that to the vet in a
few hours.  My guess is this is a bladder infection which should be easy
to take care of. Bless her little heart.  It has been a long couple of
weeks for her.  And she still has one more move to go before she gets
her forever home. After she gets well and has her dental, I'll be
placing a free ad in the newspaper to try to find a forever home for
her.  I've had good luck with that the last couple of times I've done
it.  I found good homes for both cats I rehomed.

But for tonight, she has come out and I can rest much easier knowing I
can get her to the vet without dismantling my entire living room. Phew!
 That God she is so trained to the litter box - which I am now going to
go check for a fecal sample to take to the vet.
