I went to high school in a small town, Campbellsville, Kentucky. The
town had its own school system, separate from the county. The high
school had only one teacher for each subject, so a given teacher's
children would likely end up taking at least one class from their
parent.
In my biology class, the teacher somehow got sidetracked into telling
about the time his infant twin sons got diarrhea at the same time, and
how difficult it was getting the cloth diapers clean and dry before
they had to be put back onto the babies.
Unfortunately, the twins were in the class as their father was telling
the story. They slid down in their chairs, with the most dismayed
expressions on their faces that I have ever seen on anyone. No doubt,
they were thinking, "Not that story, Dad! Not in front of our
friends!". If I remember correctly, we were all sophomores at the
time, so about 15 years old.
