How to find a new slave

Due to things I don't want to go into here, and besides, it makes my
blood boil to think about it, I need to help my sister find new homes
for her cats. She has three: A big, senior orange and white boy who
is timid, but a lovebug when he gets to know you, a BIG stripey thing
named Striper (he reminds me of my Rhett), and a tortie girl named
Amber. Amber has her own sad story because she was brought up here
from the Gulf coast as a rescue after hurricane Katrina hit. She's
also the most difficult for my sister to handle because Amber insists
that she belongs outside.

I guess I need some purrs to help find suitable homes for these sweet
cats. I think Amber is the most in need of purrs right now.

Since she is determined, it might be best for Amber to have a home where she
can safely go outside.

Molly made it very clear that being allowed out was a condition of her
living with us.

If you mean a *new* home where she can safely go outside, I might
agree. I just wanted purrs. She's not safe outside where she is now.

That's so sad that the furry ones need new homes.  We'll send
re-homing purrs for all, and some special ones for Amber to find
a nice new home with some safe Out space.

Thank you all so much. I've been trying to work out how to do this. I
might be able to rehome Amber; she's the youngest, a gorgeous tortie,
and less than a year old, sad story of her past. Striper could go
back to the SPCA if worse comes to worse. He came from there and
they're no-kill, and have to take him back if the adopter has to
rehome.  Tigger, the senior, will be harder, and I might have to take
him in here. Shamrock will absolutely hate it. But, he's cat-
friendly, so if I take it slow, it should be ok. Actually, he even
hides from me when I'm at my sister's, so it'll be an adjustment for
him in more ways than one. I really can't figure how I can have a 5th
cat, but I don't know what else to do.
