Tooth purrs?

Can I get some lower jaw purrs?  I have a tooth that looks well on its
way to being abscessed (ew!) and I have not been able to get hold of
my dentist!  Could I please get some purrs that either my dentist
turns up, or this thing just spontaeously disappears?  OR maybe both?

Lots of purrs on the way, many of us know how painful an abscess can be.

Many purrs on the way. I just had the stitches removed from my upper jaw
on Monday. Not very nice. Hope the abscess isn't one. ;o)

Well, the purrs are doing something.  I have an appointment with my
dentist tomorrow-- and the abscess has broke.  Ick.  But it doesn't
hurt anymore.  The doc says if I keep rinsing the area until I get in
tomorrow, it should be OK.

If the abscess has burst into your mouth that's much better than it going
into the jaw: that's the really serious one. Keeping the abscess in the
mouth open and draining into the mouth until you can get it seen to is the
best thing to do. Lots of salt or bicarb rinsing too, as this helps kill off
the nasties. Trust me on this - been there, done that!

Followed your instructions to the letter, and awoke this morning with
what felt almost like a normal mouth.  No pain and swelling almost
gone.  Going to dentist later anyway, of course.

Thanks for all the purrs, everybody!!!!!!

Purrs that you find your dentist.  Even if it just "spontaneously
disappears," please go to the dentist.  I've found out to my chagrin
that "disappearing" pain doesn't necessarily mean the underlying cause
is fixed.

And abcesses are dangerous. Purrs a coming.

aw, we will purr and pray mightily that the tooth does not abscess and
that you get to see your dentist pretty soon!

Many soft, gentle, tender, painless, purrs for your tooth situation to be
resolved quickly (as in the dentist returning your call very soon!).

Purrs that it spontaneously disappears.  I hate going to the dentist.
