Pics: new catbed, playing in the enclosure

Since the ringworm test was clean last month, I brought home the catbed
my niece gave me for Yule. I put it in the sauna, since that's where
Miranda has mostly been sleeping lately. Caliban was the first to try it
out.

Later I found Miranda sleeping in it:

But later again, I heard scuffling in the bathroom, and found Miranda
dragging the catbed over to the water bowl. I've lifted it back into the
sauna several times, but she always drags it out of there. She has her
very own decided opinions about interior decorating, as we all know!

I had my dental surgery on Monday, and am off work this week because I
can't wear my temporary plate while the incision heals, so I had a
chance to photograph the cats in the enclosure in the daytime. They were
out enjoying the sun and the snow. Caliban got cold feet:

Of course Meowmie was no help:

Then he tried to find a way to break out of his prison:

Miranda watched his efforts with a shocked look on her face, as if she
would *never* climb the netting! Yeah, right.

Caliban finally gave up:

A great series of pics. :-) I hope your mouth isn't too sore.

Thanks, Adrian. It's not so sore, but my upper lip is swollen and juts
out so that I look ridiculous. Why does a jutting upper lip make you
look stupid? I don't know, but I look like an idiot. ;o)

I know. :o) However big he gets, he is still my baby boy (he has such a
babyface).

Thanks. The surgery was unpleasant, but not painful, and the incision
doesn't hurt, so it's probably healing fine.

I love showing them off, but I'm having trouble with my camera and with
its software. Maybe I will be able to afford a new camera later this year.

He had to do something to keep his paws up out of that cold
snow.

Thanks for the pics.  Hope you enjoy your break from work and
your kitties enjoy having more meowmie time.

She almost looks like a normal cat there. :oP She always looks fatter
than she is in pictures, and here she's all bunched up with her fur
poofed out against the cold. LOL, yes, that's her fur poofed out. Looks
almost like any short-haired cat. ;o) She's still very skinny, but she
seems to have grown up quite normal and healthy.

Yeah, they say that the camera adds 15 pounds. But that would be
pretty dramatic for a cat. :)

Yes, considering she only weighs 3.6 kilos (about 8 pounds). :oD

Thanks, Polonca. I think it's healing fine. It's only been a couple of
days, and it doesn't hurt a bit anymore.

Great pix of pretty cats.  Purrs for your surgical wounds to heal quickly.
