I was gone most of yesterday, and now Nina is telling me I need to pay
attention to HER in no uncertain terms. She has seated herself like a
furry boulder between me and my keyboard, and keeps patting my arm, or
nudging me with her little muzzle as she purrs insistently for
attention. I will add this is being typed between numerous pauses to
stroke her and scritch her little ears. Her favorite trick is to rest
her muzzle right on my hand and let the dead weight of her head press
my hand lower and lower down. The nicest thing about my new work desk
is that there's a lot more desk surface to accomodate computers,
keyboards cups of coffee, and cats. =o)

This sounds familiar, except at my keyboard, it's my forearm that
becomes a chin-rest, and pretty soon, the little head is fast asleep.
