I found him. It was my fault!

Abelard was locked in my ex's old van that I was using for storage. I had
emptied it out Saturday afternoon and moved the stuff into the garage at the
house I'm moving to. My neighbor was here at the time and he closed up the
van without checking it for cats first. I never thought to look there at all
but this morning I just happened to glance in that direction while sweeping
the area with my eyes for any sign of the kitty, and there he was looking
out the passenger side window!

He doesn't seem especially hungry or thirsty or cold! That van has always
been a mouse haven. I still feel awful about this :(((

Thank goodness you looked in the right direction at the right time.
Smart Abelard to be sitting in the passenger seat looking out, waiting
for you to notice him.  And as   Adrian said, he was safe and well when
you found him. At least in the van, he had shelter from the elements,
and also from any other wildlife out for a prowl that might have hurt a
domestic cat, so there are WORSE places than the van where he might
have ended up.

I'm so glad you found him.  Try not to beat yourself up; he's home and
okay.

At least you found him.  I'm sure he was happy to come back inside with you!

I'm glad you found him and he's okay.  What did the inside of the van smell
like?

Good news!  I was checking every 15 or 20 minutes at work until I saw this
post.

I'm glad to hear he's home! I would go insane with worry if my Kenzie
was lost in the OUT!
