Helen wrote about how Marble was jealous when she petted a neighbour cat
the other day. We've been having some bouts of sibling jealousy around
here lately.
The other day, I was on the prorcelain bowl when Mir walked by. For some
reason, the bathroom is the only place where she likes to be picked up
and cuddle in my arms, so I picked her up for a minute (of course, this
means I stay seated for a much longer time than I really need to). She
settled down on my arm, purring and enjoying the scritches.
Caliban came in and saw Mir on my arm. For a while, it looked like he
was going to jump up for a cuddle, too, but then he thought better of
it, and jumped into the sink instead. Then he reached up and pulled down
my brush from the counter. He started biting and bunny-kicking it, every
now and then glancing over his shoulder at me to see I was watching.
"See what I'm doing to your brush? This could be you, if you don't give
me enough cuddles." *
Later the same day, I was watching TV, and Caliban made one of his
"baby-love attacks," tramping about on my chest and purring his little
furry head off. I happened to glance to the side, and saw Miranda
watching us with a very disgruntled look on her face. I guess Caliban
showed her. ;o)
* No wonder it takes me so long to visit the loo, with all this drama
every time.

No, this means you remain seated for the correct amount of time.

Caliban is Marble's long-lost brother it seems ;-)

The sole reason for a human to visit the loo in this household is to be a
lap to provide easier access to the sink to have tap turned on for a drink.
I know my place ;-)
