meee - 02 Feb 2006 07:48 GMT Hi sorry to have disappeared so suddenly!! My computer suddenly crashed, apparently through a virus, so we eventually caved and bought a new one. So now I am happy to be back online and I've been missing everyone here!! My husband thinks I'm mad to go on and on about my cats, and I've missed being able to rave on to you guys about the kittens. They have been an absolute pleasure to have around and I have enjoyed every minute, however I am not able to stretch money much further, and as they are now 3 months old, I am rehoming them...but cautiously. I have decided to keep at least one, Larry, and maybe one of the other boys, if I can't find good enough homes for them. I was very fortunate to find a wonderful home for Violette, the little girl cat, with the neighbour of one of my mum's friends. they have a large family of older children, and are well off enough to spoil her rotten, and even better have a good cat track record. Their elderly cat who just passed away was desexed and indoors only, so I have been very lucky, as my city isn't cat-oriented, more into dogs.I tried to rehome them through the RSPCA, however they weren't able to help. So now I am just hoping I will find homes for at least one of the boys just as good as Miss Violettes!! Jasmine is enjoying her independance now the kitties are getting older, and maintaining her position as Head Cat with a lot more dignity than the others!!! She is very gracious to the others, even allowing them first helping to treats...Cougar is quite pushy with anything to do with food, so no surprise there!! Mango is growing up very quickly, and considers the Gang of orange to be his brothers, and you can imagine the mess the four boys make rampaging around the house!! Well that's it for now, it's good to be back and I would love to hear from any of you, and catch up. Is Unca Frank still around? I've been worried about him, and not knowing how he was.Is everyone else still ok? I tried to email Mme Anais from my phone, but I'm not sure it worked.

I will really miss your Frank stories. That haiku is beautiful, and a fitting tribute to such a wonderful cat. All our cats are loved, but only some allow us to really be their friend- Frank was one of those.

All > our cats are loved, but only some allow us to really be their friend- Frank > was one of those. Thank you for remembering my darling Frank. Yes, he was my best friend for nearly 18 years. I feel lost and not sure about who I am without him. Sorry for being so curt in my original reply, but sometimes it just hits me like a ton of bricks that he is really gone and I won't see him ever again. It's been a hard week (not caused by your post, it started before that).

I know the feeling of losing a good friend...they might be 'just animals' to others, but the comfort they give us is wonderful. and not many come along that cross from 'pet' into 'friend'. you were lucky to have Frank for that long....I am sorry I couldn't meet him, as his personality came across even in the ng. Purrs and hugs to you, may his memory become happy to you and not be painful any more....Hugs, Marina

I was supposed to be with Doc and Jennifer, not these two new cats. It can take a while, but I hope having Miranda and Caliban helps.

Like something's not quite right. Thanks for your kind words, Mir-mir and Caliban do fill the emptiness.

Welcome back. I hope you're going to keep your anti-virus up to date in future.

And both from sites we regularly use and don't consider 'high risk' which is really scary.

did you go into the options and change the options for the bloodhound under auto protect and manual scan also check mark scan in compressed files and you know that Norton's does not run real full scan you manually have to set one up
