Hasn't been a good few weeks.

I've been typing one-handed, when I've been able to get my butt
upstairs. I fell down at work shortly after the new year and ended up
with an evil ankle sprain and a busted wrist. Just below the thumb, one
of those little bitty bones you don't think about until it hurts like
hell. It has made work interesting, now that I'm back. Doing customer
service with hydrocodone as your co-pilot makes for a colorful eight
hours!

My babies have been so good to me. Stosh comes in and massages me, and
even our skittish Odessa has been coming in to rest with me, when she
thinks I'm asleep. I'm especially proud of our little doll, she's come
so far fromthe girl who hid in the rafters for three months. Roxie is
considerate and brings me the toys she wants to play with, and Brandy
just curls up by me and makes her big purrs. When she's not barking,
anyway. I still have no idea how she learned dog-talk...

I missed my holiday card stuff from this and my missed work. I can
expect workman's compin time for an Easter ham, the way they work. So I
ask your forgiveness for forgetfulness, one and all. I left a bundle of
non-holiday, luv-you-all cards for Mr. Mail-carrier, who no doubt is
scratching his head. Because I do love you all. Even the trolls. You
make me think.

Blessed be,
Baha

Good luck on the recovery.  Back in 1989, I fell and both broke and
badly sprained my left little finger.  In my case, I was able to use
the rest of the hand.  I had a plaster cast at first, and later a
splint that I could take off to wash my hands, but had to put back on
afterwards.

Once the splint came off, it took me about 6 weeks of stretching
exercises, several times a day, to regain full mobility in the joint,
as the tendons had shrunk.

You will probably have a similar result, and will find that the story
about joint injuries telling you when the weather is about to change
is not just an old wives' tale.  In my case, it took about 4 years for
the sensitivity to changes in air pressure to completely go away.

More healing purrs for a quick recovery coming your way.
Charleen and the furry, purry ones.

Thasnks y'all; when it rains it pours I guess. It seems every time there's
a new job or major schedule chenge--in my case I was just coming off
intensive training and going into mys hift--something happens. Maybe I just
got superstitious and now cause these things?

Blessed be,
Baha

I know I'm two weeks late with my wishes, but hope you're feeling better.

You can't shout down a troll.
 You have to starve them.
