I'm up in the middle of the night when I have to be up at 6AM to get ready to take my insurance licensing exam. I'm doing this at my father's request; I don't want to sell insurance. (sigh) Anyway, here I am, awake halfway to morning. I'll be fuzzy at best when I leave the house to go take this damn test. Oh well, I passed it when I was 24; surely I can pass it again 20-some years later. I don't even remember studying for it way back when. This time I attended classes. Wheee! I thought I'd set my *dual* alarm clock for the latest wake-up time - 6:15AM - turned out I only set the 2nd alarm. By the time I woke up (Persia woke me, tapping me on the face with her soft little paw) it was check-in time for the exam. OOOPS! Oh well, I'll pay another $85 to take it tomorrow or Thursday. Thanks for the purrs. I'm pretty sure I can pass this test again. I did it when I was 24; I can surely do it again. The funny thing is the guy who was about 30 wanted to sit next to me in class. We took a break together and he said, "So, if you cough the answer is always d.!" I laughed... ahem, I'm on question three, not question one!" There's no way to cheat on this test. You can't see the other participants. What's scary is this guy is going for his securities (financial) license. It's a requirement in TN to also have your life & health license when you sell securities (license series 6,7,63 and 66). I don't think I want this guy selling me stocks. Vast amounts of extra legislation & changes in legislatin over what is and is not acceptable. Even thought I held a license, I never actually sold the stuff. I just know about it. BOO HISS!
