I will be offline from Wednesday through to Sunday night, when I am in Leeds keeping my 81 year old mum company while my 84 year old dad has one of his cataracts removed (there seems to be a lot of it about at the moment!) He has glaucoma in the other eye so we're praying this will help a little. He also has angina so I'm worried because they're doing it under general anaesthetic, the surgeon didn't seem to think dad was a candidate for a local - he also thinks he might have Parkinsons, but that's a different story, very confusing as mum has the shakes but dad's suspected Parkinsons, strange? Sometimes the surgeons decide that an eye op would be best done under a general anaesthetic, most of mine were done under a general. I was fine and hopefully so will your dad be. Try not to worry.
