I almost forgot the good news: TED rang me last week and told me the
ringowrm test was negative!! We're not completely out of the woods yet,
as she said there might still be some spores left, but they are
suppressed by the meds. We will take one last test next month (hopefully
it really is the last), just to make sure, but right now it looks like
we beat this! Yay! I can take the fuzzy toys out of the freezer. ;o)

Thank goodness, Marina!  I think I've finally licked it here as well.  I'm
closely watching Chloe's ear for any more bald spots, but the fur is growing
in, so I think she's okay.  Pua's fine and Tyrone is fine, so Chloe's the
last one to show any signs.  Unfortunately, she's also the hardest one to
treat; biting and fighting.  I've been battling ringworm since August, now.

Congratulations on your ringworm fight!  Yay, yay, yay!!!!!!!!!

Glad to know that your Great Ringworm War is also almost over!

Cheers for the victors!  It was a hard-fought war, and you each
bear a few scars, but you won.  The enemy is in full retreat.

Now, with any luck you'll get a short respite before the next
crisis.

That is good news, hopefully the spores are gone as well.

Would freezing kill any spores left over? Yay for your and the kids!

I read somewhere that freezing should kill them, but forgot to ask TED
about it. So I shoved all the fuzzy toys in the freezer anyway, because
the spores are most apt to stick to fuzzy surfaces.

Why not just open all the doors and windows? ;o)

That's what I've got going, Adrian!  Still took months to get rid of the
spores.  They're outside, too, ya know.  :~)

Well, it's -20 C here (-5 F), so they would hardly survive outside at
the moment. But that is also the reason why I'm not going to take
Adrian's advice. Brrrr!

Dang, I've got the doors and windows open now and the temp inside my house
is 79F (26.1C).  It's 12:32 in the afternoon here.

Oh, I don't know, Marina. Frozen fuzzy toys are always helpful to have
on hand if you have unexpected company.... =o) But if you want to keep
them frozen, it would seem that all you need to do right now is pop
them outside and Finland will do the hard work for you.

Congrats, and I hope the Ring Worm TRULY is gone!

What a relief! I'm so very happy to hear this.
Lots and lots of purrs and best wishes for the last test to be negative,

Great news, congrats! Ringworm can be such trouble getting rid of, as
you know!
