Saw my mom today and she gave me the beds she made for the kitties. One was small (they tend to really shrink when felted) but they didn't care about that. I think cats like small things to squeeze into. Shamrock and Rhett found the one with the eyelash trim, and Scarlett liked the small one but I didn't have my camera. Shamrock beat the snot out of the small one for some reason, but then decided he liked sitting in it. I think he got clawed like Shamrock did last year. Probably Bonnie who did it; she and he play really rough together. Today I heard squeals and hisses, and found clumps of black fur. Had to break them up. They just tend to let their playing get out of hand. Rhett'll probably be off to TED Monday if it doesn't start healing. Right now he's just sort of squinty. And the rest of you for the good thoughts for Rhett's eye. We just came from TED and he has a little conjunctivitis. No fever, not infected, but irritated and inflamed. His new TED (our old TED retired the end of Dec) sent him home with freshly clipped claws and a tube of something with a steroid in it for the inflammation. She didn't see any scratches on the cornea, but I'm sure he got scratched somewhere on the eye from play fighting with his brother or sisters. They all play rough.
