For those who've never seen them, or those who'd like to see them
again, this site has pictures of Roxy, Smudge, and Licky, my rescue
kitties Lambchop and Itchy, and many more. I have revamped the site
and have put together several separate cat pages I'd created over
the years.

You might even recognize a cat of your own in there, because I've
included a page of "amusing and cute kitties" whose pictures I've
collected from the Web. If you do see your own photo on my site, and
you'd like me to identify you and/or your cat (or if you'd prefer
I remove the photo), please email me at this posting address (with
X's removed).

Check it out!

I have seen them before, but they're well worth seeing again. Thanks for the
reminder.

I like it!  However, your written part needs some updating, it says that
Smudge is 3 years old, so I think that's a bit outdated ;-)

Yeah, maintaining a website is a job that's never done. :)

I like what you've done there, Joyce.  Made it very easy to
become more familiar with your crew.

Roxy and Smudge are an especially beautiful pair, but I suspect they
know that already.

Thanks so much for sharing these photos, Joyce.  For some reason I'd
imagined Smudge to be tabby and white, rather like Boyfie.
I like to see piccies of people's kitties anyway, but particularly to see if
they look like I thought they would.  They rarely do ;-)
Licky is extraordinarily handsome.  KFC would like to know whether he is
spoken for in the romance department as she is a tuxedo herself.

Well, you're close, actually - that's Roxy you're describing!

Licky is not spoken for, nope. KFC should know, though, that although
he's good-looking, he's no dashing hero. If she would enjoy being the
tough guy of the pair, he would be happy to be her sensitive new-age
guy. :)

It would suit Kitty just fine to be the tough one, if Licky doesn't mind an
older girlfriend.  Much older actually ;-)
If he doesn't mind this, consider the handsome chap spoken for, although
she's a bit "full on" and not apt to appreciate sensitivity, she regards
Boyfie as a wimp.  Let's see how it goes ;-)

Licky's used to older women. He lives with three of us! :)

Licky is wimpy about humans - if the doorbell rings, even if it's a
doorbell on TV, he'll dive under my bed. But he's persistent with cats.
Smudge can't stand him, but he still won't stop trying to play with her
and tease her. So KFC's grumpiness will not be a deterrent. I'm not
saying that would make for a *pleasant* romance, however. But it might
be interesting. :)

Kitty would like to say that she thort that Licky's foto was very attractive
because he's a black/white tuxedo like herself and it's about time she had a
little romance after all these years.  However she wishes to make it
absolutely clear that no man cat will be boss of her, all 4lbs of her tiny
fierce self.
She sends a headbutt and a tentative nosekiss to Licky.

Aww. Licks emerges from his hidey-hole to give KFC a quick sniff, then
sits and stares, leaning back a bit as though she might bop him on the
head. (And where would he ever get *that* idea? :))

One thing just occurs to me - are they (KFC and Licorice) going to
break poor Boyfriend's heart? He's been trying so hard to win Kitty's
affections, and then she goes and flirts with some Dapper Dan across
the pond? :)

So I'd like to say that Licky is not a possesive sort and is willing
to share, should KFC ever decide that Boyfie is worth more than a bop
on the head for all his trouble. Cats aren't as concerned about
monogamy as many humans are...

Oh, no, Boyfie will be fine about it.  While you were away from the group he
got himself a beautiful kind girlfriend called Mimi who lives with Magic
Mood Jeep and crew in Bloomington.
He gave up on Kitty quite a while ago in the romantic sense, she's too
fierce for his gentle heart.  He plays nice with her because she's old and
crabby and they have to live together.
He could easily hurt her if he wanted to as she's really tiny, she can't
weigh more than 4lbs, if that.  He's twice her size.  He does occasionally
swear at her if she is being particularly obnoxious to him but that's as far
as it goes, and if he *does* have to swear at her (and goodness me, she
really deserves it sometimes) he always goes off into the out immediately to
cool off for an hour or two!   Then he peers around the door when he comes
back to test out his welcome.  If Kitty is still offended and happens to be
awake she will growl at him which causes him to reverse back out and find
some important duties to perform in the garden for another couple of hours.
This is a manoeuvre that my grandfather used to called "throwing my hat in
first.."  as my grandmother and grandfather had a very similar relationship
to KFC & BF.   My grandmother was small, fierce and easily offended.  My
grandfather used to say that if she would pick his hat up after he'd thrown
it in after a disagreement it would be pretty safe for him to follow it
inside.  Otherwise he spent an awful lot of time in the greenhouse tending
his plants.

Ah... OK, didn't know that. She's a lucky girl! :)

LOL! I remember when Licky tried to start a new trend among cats to wear
one ear inside out. ;o)

LOL!! He does seem to be willing to sit there (at least long enough for
me to get my camera) with his ear in that position.

I've seen the floppy ear thing happen to dogs, but not to a cat
before. :)  Betty can headbutt my hand hard enough to plaster her ear
against her head, but it pops out with a "flick" sound a moment later
- stiff ears.

Licky's ear turns inside-out fairly often when I'm petting him. And it
will just stay that way unless I put it back. He doesn't even seem to
notice it.

Very nice pictures. I *always* love looking at everyone's kitty pics!
Thank you!
