Sasha is at the vets right now for testing. Her eating habits have
been deteriorating for the past couple days. Last night she pretty
much refused canned food but has been drinking a lot of water. She is
over 5 years old so vet is testing for diabetes, kidney failure and
tumors. He said he feels some masses around her colon but they could
be lymph nodes and will do x-rays depending on what he finds with the
blood testing. I have 5 cats and this is my first time through
possibly losing one (my all time favorite cat to boot) and I am a
wreck. So I sit and wait. Please pray for her.

I'm so sorry! I think I need to have Miss Pua tested for diabetes as well.
She drinks so much water and pees a LOT. I hate to bring this up, but can
you give me more of Sasha's symptoms? Other than the peeing and the water,
Miss Pua seems fine. She's eating.
Keep us posted as to the diagnosis, please. Purrs headed in your direction
from me and my three.

To anyone else she would seem fine. But since I know her so well, I
know she is just not herself. Thinking about it last night I know she
has not groomed herself lately, She is sitting in the same upright
position with her paws under her chest. Last night I got out hte wet
food. Opened it in front of her so she could hear and smell it right
away. She got all excited like she normally would and i put it in
front of her and she smelled it and turned her head real quick and ran
away. Like I gave her something horrible she was mad at me. But she
went for the water quite a few times.

Huh....... Pua isn't interested in any people food, just the dry cat food.
She gets the zoomies once a day, but since I've only had her about 5 months,
I'm still learning her personality. Maybe her drinking a lot of water is
normal for her, I don't know. Thanks, Meow.
