Boyfriend has been almost in self-imposed exile since my aunt and uncle came
almost three weeks ago. He was just too afraid to come in during the
daytime, and waited until they went to bed.
They went home yesterday. He peeped into the kitchen today and found I was
the only person here, so he's been in almost all day.
He's upside downy head on the armchair now. Tired out. I wish I could take
a photo and share it. He looks so sweet and peaceful. He must be dreaming a
bit, his tail just got a life of it's own. Now he stretches, he obviously
feels *so* comfy and safe.

Awwww! Love that upside-downey-head thing. Poor thing must have been
scared of the "strangers" lurking in the house. Purrs to you both.

He must be tired out with all that outdoor activity! I am glad he is
back to feeling happy and secure.

This may be a turning point in Boyfriend's housecatability!

Awwww! Poor BF. I'm glad his routine is back to normal. Cats *so* hate it
when their routine changes in any way.

A house is not a home, without a cat.

Once my mother came for a visit and my usually sweet Misty (RB) was
just horrid to her. It's not that Misty was afraid or went into
hiding, she stayed just out of arm's reach for a week. My mother was
very fond of cats and would have loved to have Misty come up on her
lap or even next to her on the couch, but Misty would have none of it.
I didn't speak to that cat for a week after Mom left.

I'm very sorry. I'd like to reply to everyone who was kind enough to
respond. Myself and Boyfriend (also on the armchair tonight) would like to
say thank you. I'm so sleepy from my painkillers that I'm not myself.
I begin to think I shouldn't post if I can't reply, it seems so rude.

I can't imagine you being rude, Tweed. Don't you worry about anything. Just
recover.

Don't worry about it Tweed, go and get some sleep - we'll still be here for
you tomorrow (and the day after, and the day after, for as long as you need
us!).
