My sister is heartbroken. Her sweet 14-year old tabby cat was put to
sleep last night. She had had several strokes recently and was very
wobbly. I don't know yet what precipitated last night's events, my
sister was too distraught to say, but I know she's done her best to
nurse Spice through her declining months.
If that weren't hard enough to bear, she is losing her job at the end of
the month, and consequently her home too.

What a run of bad luck. Sounds like your sis could use some of

Please tell your sister that there is a child in the heavens today who has
never known the love of a cat, the comforting sound of a purr, and the joy
of a playful meow, who has been given an eternal kindness because she, your
sister, was merciful and gave Spice the kindest of gifts, the most bravely
given. The Divine Creator will not forget her in the time of grief, and will
restore her heart, home and job. We have four very loud-purring kitties who
are working on it for her, and from me and Louie to.
Blessed be,
Baha
