Angelic cats

I took the cats in for their ringworm test today. They were little
angels on the bus! Never a peep out of either one. Caliban looked at
everything and everyone around him and was too fascinated with the
outside world to mind, and Miranda settled down with a determined look
to endure this new torture that meowmie had inflicted upon her. When I
got on the bus, the driver smiled at Miranda. A catlover, methinks.

The cats had no reason to fear this visit to TED, since all she did was
brush them for a while (that's how they get the skin and hair sample for
the test). Calibn even started purring after a while of brushing, and
even Miranda calmed down and settled down in my arms for a nap with the
soothing brushing.

On the way home, Caliban started to meow pitifully when we were almost
home, but his meows are so small, it was nothing like the deep yowls
that Frank used to treat the whole bus to.

I left home with Miranda and Caliban, and returned with Mir, Cal and
Frank's ashes. I'm glad to have him back home again.

I'm glad the TED visit wasn't stressfull. When will you know the results of
the ringworm test?
It must have been very emotional collecting Frank's ashes. Hugs and purrs.

It will take around two weeks to get the results, because they send them
to a lab in the UK! The vet was an angel, too, and only billed me for
Caliban. :o)

It was an emotional afternoon. I unwrapped the package and took a peep
into the disposable urn (I'm going to scatter the ashes on the island,
so didn't get a real urn). It's hard to fathom that that little pouch of
dust is all that is left of my sweet, gentle, most beloved Frankie.

Ben and I were out cleaning the yard up yesterday in anticipation of being
able to fill the holes the aptly named "Digger" created.  While clearing
away leaves from under the tree we uncovered across Percy's grave-marker so
we say and visited with him for a while.

Purrs for the ringworm tests to be negative and for a Meowmy still missing
Frank and Nikki.
