Some new piccies of Bam-Bam, Barney & Betty have been added to their photo album - and a few with Unka Ping! Here's the first of the new piccies http://community.webshots.com/photo/502166760/532974698bOYkxE I was able to get some video of Barney - but I have nowhere to post it! It's about 7meg, if someone here has server space! I have another one of Bam-Bam exploring the drinking glass - totally funny (OK, I helped a bit by keeping them from pushing it off the bed), and it is also over 7meg! I can't get over how much Ping looks like my Ming... except that Ming has white toes and a white bib. If he didn't have the Siamese genes, he'd be a classic tuxedo cat. As it is, he's a Siamese in a tux. It also sounds like they've got similar personalities. We'd had Ming less than 8 weeks (he was adopted as an adult from a shelter) when Buttercup appeared (a 4-5 week kitten from a feral mother). Ming adopted Buttercup; he grooms her, sleeps with her and wrestles with her. They're best buddies. Ming (maybe because he came from a shelter- we don't know his history) is rather shy. He takes a while to warm up to people and hides when something startles him. He glides when he walks- it's a very smooth movement that doesn't attract attention. You almost don't notice him when he comes into the room. He purrs very softly and doesn't like to be held, although he will curl up next to me. Buttercup is completely fearless, and purrs like a motorboat. She stalks when she walks- it's an aggressive "don't mess with me" kind of walk. Since she was *so* tiny when we got her she's never known anything but this house and a stable food supply. She's the princess and she knows it. Bam-Bam is all white on the body, with exception of some blotches on his back legs and his boy-bits, in addition to his head and tail. Barney has the stripey head, and tail (with white tip), and the spots on his body. They're at that perfect age, where they look like miniature cats. (Which is not what I think newborn kittens look like at all.) Betty is particularly pretty - I have a weak spot for black kitties.
