Snowball's "21st"

Not exactly - there's no timeslip, he's reached Kitty 18 months, which
seems a good time to celebrate his arrival into adulthood. There are
definite signs that his hoolikitten nature is subsiding (in terms of
reduced damage to the household) and the "manic minutes" are now few &
far between. His major interest is now food rather than toys, & I must
admit to being a little relieved.

I've added a couple of celebratory piccies to his photo album, which
should be reachable direct at:
http://community.webshots.com/album/96231890DCfOgQ/1

And there's a nice pic of Pericles (well I think so anyway as a proud
Dad) at
http://community.webshots.com/album/94722327kAslef/1

If the direct links don't work, they're the newest (ie last) pics on
the 2nd pages of the albums "Owners Past & Present" and "Snowball's
Adolescence" at the usual URL below.

Enjoy.

Wow, the cat in the middle (which one is s/he?), that's the most unusual
marking on a cat I've ever seen - I *love* the light beige body with white
at the base of the tail and then the dark beige tail - *gorgeous* (of course
they are all gorgeous).

Hugs,

He is really beautiful from that angle.  He's grown into a more adult
coloring now, so you can really see all the patterns.  And his fur
looks so dense and soft!

Thanks on Snowy's behalf. Ragdolls originated as a Birman/Angora cross
IIRC (possibly Birman/Chinchilla?) so stroking his newly-brushed fur
is almost like caressing a cloud.

I'm a lucky slave.

That's Snowball. Lots of pics of all of them, plus their revered
predecessors, at the URL hereunder. Snowball is a Ragdoll in blue
bi-colour configuration, I prefer that to the mitted 'cos I'm such a
sucker for pink nosies.

That's got to be one of the most beautiful cats I've ever seen!!!  (Don't
tell my crew I said that - I'll deny it under torture!!!).  ;>

Snowball thanks you but will keep it to himself. Many homins,
including his breeder, have remarked that he's too good-looking to be
a boy!

What I daren't tell him myself is that my most special handsome boy
was Aries RB, a true black panther, about whom I wrote last year in
the post "Aries RB - a tribute" and who can be seen in a few poor
snaps in the album "Owners Past & Present" via my customary URL:

Beautiful, but I had to laugh at the one where he's sticking his tongue
out!!  ;>

You have / had some gorgeous owners, Gordon.

Aries was still nearly a kitten then, in the midst of a "mad minute"
(only as a half-Siamese his lasted nearer an hour). The fondest of
fond memories.

Yes, I freely acknowledge that I've been a very lucky catslave.

Are you going take him out drinking, now that it's legal? :)

He's a very handsome young man!

Also, I love the "2 cats in a box" photo, the second one, where Pericles
has taken over 95% of the box, jamming poor Bandit into a corner. Bandit
must have infinite patience!

Snowball fangs you for the compliment but advises that he doesn't care
for booze: the brine that marinates salmon is his tipple (which he
doesn't get nearly often enough sez he).

Yes, Bandit is a love. In his previous life as a whole male he took a
proud fatherly interest in raising his sister's kittens. Once with me
he quickly told me he was lonely so I "rescued" Pericles for him when
Peri was already Bandit's size at 17 weeks old. It was play and share
foodbowl time within minutes, and B even took Snowball's intrusion
with good grace although he (B) isn't as playful at over 7 years old.
In fact earlier today they were cuddled up together in the hollow I
left in my unmade bed (bad housekeeping that) and B washed S so
throughly that he (S) was dripping!

I'm very fortunate in my masters.

We did! Many happy returns to Snowball. He is such a big boy now!
Pericles is a very distinguished-looking gent.
