Had to share this portrait like pic I managed to snap of Laku sitting by
the window:

I have a big version of that pic as my computer wallpaper. His eyes are
green this time, but sometimes they're yellow and sometimes close to a
coppery hue.

He's the king of his castle-- no bossy little tuxedo girl to keep them
trimmed!

Thank you all for your kind words. Of course *I* know he's beautiful,
handsome etc., and certainly *he* knows it, but now you do too. :)

And to Marina re: whiskers. Yes, they're long and, contrary to what the
back lighting on the pic implies, actually black like everyting else on
him too (fur, toe pads etc.)

So beautiful! I love seeing the brown shades in black cats' fur in the
sun. My Merlin who is dark grey, actually looks purplish some days!

Oh, that's beautiful. Laku looks so thoughtful. Her eyes are pretty.
I have a hard time with eyes. Frank gets red-eye, and the others are so sick of
me chasing them with a flash camera they seem to squint when they see it.

Laku thanks you for your kind words, but wants to set the record
straight of *his* gender. (even tho he's had the snippety snip done)

Oh, crud. Humble apologies to Laku. I *knew* he was a boy. I don't know why I
made that slip. (I have a history of making this same faux pas. Just ask Tak--I
bet "he" remembers)
