This morning Persia decided to play a game with me I call 'tippity-tap'.
This is a relatively new invention of hers.  I was still dozing.  She was
next to me, facing me, purring.  She'd reach out and gently tap my nose with
her paw.  I'd open my eyes to find her big green eyes gazing at me... purrs
rev up a little louder.  Close my eyes.  Open them again to find her
reaching out with her paw again... when my eyes opened she stopped and very
slowly set her paw back down, just watching me and purring.  Close my
eyes... repeat above.  Close my eyes.  Didn't open them in time, got another
gentle tap on the nose.  This went on for about 5 minutes... if I opened my
eyes in time to catch her, she'd slowly set her paw back down and wait.
Apparently she doesn't want to tap me on my nose unless my eyes are closed.

LOL  Of course... But I like this method much better than her playing leap
frog over me on my waterbed!

Or one of Sammy's methods (which thankfully she rarely employs). This
is the one where she leaps from the desk next to the bed to land on
the hoomin's midsection.

I much prefer LB's wake up method of curling up next to the pillow and
reving up her purr extra loud. Ocassionaly she uses Persia's tap
method with the purrs.
