Purrs for the Working Dog

This happend a few days ago, I haven't had time to post much.
The OKC police, after a long chase, finally forced a car to stop on an
overpass. You all know how high those things are. The suspect ran out
of the car, and jumped off. The police dog had taken off after him, and
sailed right over the overpass behind him.
The suspect died from injuries, but miraculously, the dog landed on top
of him and is still alive. He has a lot of internal injuries and broken
bones.
Poor guy. If you have any spare purrs, I'm sure he needs them.

Purrs and purr-ayers commencing at once! Poor dog.

And FWIW, at the very least, condolences to the suspect's family. I'm not
sure what the person was suspected of, nor of whether or not they were
guilty of whatever it was. But if they were innocent and panicked, what a
tragic loss of life this was. :o( If they were guilty and panicked, it
still saddens me that they died. It would've been better for them and
their loved ones if they'd lived and gone to jail, instead of things
turning out this way. Sad. Especially at this time of year, with the
holidays fast approaching.

I am with you on this one.  It was probably some dumb kid who had done
dumb things.   Purrs for the   dog who was just trying to do his
duty.   Purrs also for the law officers who witnessed the event.   MLB

It sound to me like they may even have been on something to do
something like that. It is all very sad.

Agreed.  Though I can't always summon pity for the guilty, I do feel it
for those who love them.

Imagine what his handler is feeling.

We'll need purrs for the brave dog and for everybody else
involved in this horrifying incident.
