Qantas _has_ had the odd accident, but thankfully no fatal ones.
Everyone got out of this one in 1999 (nervous flyers had better not look

Apparently the last one before that was in 1960, and everyone on board
survived that one too. Still a pretty good record!

Yup. It was Rainman. Incidentally, I had seen that movie in the theater a
couple of months before I flew somewhere (not on Qantas). They showed the
movie on the flight, but for some reason, they cut out that airport scene.

Ding ding ding!! :)
Because that movie was the first place where I ever heard of Qantas, I
now can't hear any mention of it without thinking of that airport scene
in the movie.

Ah, but that was well *after* Rainman (1988). I guess all good records
have to be ruined sooner or later.
