For the first time I made our Holiday Cards, it has been fun. But, oh no,
I
can't find the RPCA mail list. And that is all because of a leak in the
bathroom behind the shower head, the water ran down the inside wall and
under the wall onto the carpet beneath three bookcases. It leaked for a
long time because it rotted the bottoms of the bookcases and the carpet,
we
noticed it when the water came out beyond the bookcases. Now this still
has
to do with why I can't find the mail list.
We had to move all the items, furniture, books, lots of books, silver,
china, huge TV, many cat boxes, bags, into the dinning room which is much
smaller than the living room. Then we pulled up the carpet. So all the
living room stuff is in the dinning room with all the dinning room stuff.
When the mail list came out I printed it and went into the
dinning/living/storage room to file it for when I needed it. It wouldn't
get lost that way. Somewhere between the computer and the file cabinet the
list floated away. If it is in there I don't know where and it would take
me until next Christmas to find it.
Please, please GaDragon (sp) send me another list. I will nail this one
to
a wall!

LOL! I'm sorry Charleen, I shouldn't laugh at you but this is so very
much me and my life right now. I'm sending the list right away.

I know it isn't nice, but I'm grinning and trying not to laugh out loud. I
am truly sorry and sympathetic about the water damage and resulting
problems. But the resulting chaos sounds like this place.
I didn't think we had a lot of junk. I was sure we didn't. But we had some
remodeling done over the summer and I just cannot get everything put back
away. I've been to the dump several times. I've stopped keeping things I
may use again someday. I've given quite a lot to my daughter.
Oh, and we had rats and had to clean out everything neatly stored in the
garage. Even found some Queen Elizabeth coronation tea cups that belong to
my husbands ex wife. And we have been married thirty eight years. I guess
they will sometime become antiques and maybe my daughter would like those.
But help! I can't get one room organized and keep it that way.

We had carpets replaced in two rooms last month. There are
several items which went missing in the process and I still
can't find, including Heidi's best long-hair and mat-buster
combs.

Oh, boy, Charleen, I feel for you!
We had ceiling leaks (well, roof leaks) in a couple of our closets
earlier this year. Then when they came to fix the roof a bit ago, it
happened again. There are all kinds of things I *still* can't find!
